Which Days Do Boat Trips Run in Side? An Honest Day-by-Day Guide

Most boat trips in Side run on most days during the season — but not all of them. The pirate galleon sails only on certain days of the week, and every schedule shifts as the season changes. This guide explains honestly how the weekly rhythm works and where to find the up-to-date answer for your exact travel dates.

The short answer: most tours run most days

During the season, the Dolphin Island boat trip, the Green Canyon lake tour, the full-day Suluada trip and our private gulet and luxury yacht charters operate on most days. If your dates are flexible, you will almost always find a departure that fits. As a direct local operator we confirm bookings instantly, and there is no prepayment — you pay on the tour day, cash or card on board.

The pirate ship is the exception

The pirate boat adventure — the big multi-deck wooden galleon with treasure hunt, free face painting and foam party — does not sail every day. It runs on specific days of the week, and those days are set per season, not fixed forever. We deliberately do not print "it sails on Tuesdays" here: a blog post can go stale, a booking calendar cannot.

Why we won't print a weekly timetable

Schedules in Side change with the season: departures are added in peak summer, thinned out in spring and autumn, and weather can move individual dates. Any fixed table published online risks being wrong by the time you read it. The single reliable source is the real-time booking calendar on each tour page: pick a date and you instantly see whether that tour departs. If a date cannot be selected, the boat genuinely does not sail that day — no guesswork, no "call to check".

How to plan your holiday week around boat days

What a tour day looks like

Our group boats leave from the Manavgat River pier, not Side harbour — the pirate galleon casts off at 10:00, the dolphin boat in the morning. Hotel pickup is included; the exact time is confirmed the day before, and the meeting point is usually your hotel's front or security gate. Typical pickup windows: Kızılot 08:20, Kızılağaç and Gündoğdu 08:30, Çolaklı 08:40, Evrenseki and Titreyengöl 08:45, Sorgun 08:50, Kumköy 08:55, Side centre 09:00.

Frequently asked questions

Does the pirate boat run every day?

No. It sails on certain days of the week, and those days change with the season. Open the pirate tour page, choose a date in the calendar, and you will see immediately whether it departs during your stay.

How do I check which days a tour runs during my dates?

Open the tour page and tap a date in the booking calendar. Available days can be selected; unavailable ones cannot. The calendar is live, so it always reflects the current seasonal schedule.

What happens if the weather is bad on my day?

If a departure cannot go ahead, we contact you on WhatsApp and offer another day. You have paid nothing in advance, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before — on the luxury yacht, postponement in bad weather is explicitly free.

Do schedules differ between early and peak season?

Yes. Peak summer has the densest schedule; spring and autumn run fewer departures. That is exactly why the calendar, not a printed timetable, is the source of truth. More tips: how to book a boat trip in Side.
